30 Nov Achieve the Unimaginable
I went to the Tony Robbins event in Dubai on September 3, 2019 and it was such a great time. Guest speakers included Moataz Mashal, Nick Vujicic, Prince EA and Alicia Keys. It was a 9-hour event and as the day progressed we felt more energised and completely empowered to achieve any outcome we seek.
I am taking this opportunity to share with you key learnings from each speaker:
Moataz Mashal – Life & Business Strategist, Speaker, Entrepreneur
He shared with us a simple technique to do every day that he calls SHAKE and it stands for:·
Smile
Hug
Appreciation – take 3 to 5 minutes every single day to appreciate something·
Kid – for 10 to 15 minutes activate the kid in you, be curious, creative and imaginative ·
Exercise – EVERYDAY
Nick Vujicic – Evangelist, international motivational speaker and New York Times best-selling author7 principles of success:
- I don’t know what I can achieve until I try
- When I fail I will try again
- Obstacles = Opportunities
- Failure is my classroom – swallow your ego
- Dream big
- Never give up
- Have faith
Wake up and be thankful for everyday

Start with who are you·
Awareness: You are there to witness the thoughts come and go – I cannot be any thought that comes and goes in my field of consciousness
You are not the voice in your head – to test it : ask yourself; what is your next thought going to be? The ear is to sound just like the mind is to thought
Stay as the present non-judgmental awareness
A thought about a tree is not a tree
FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS!
- Action steps
- Present moment awareness (1 minute)- observe the thoughts that come and go
- Use death as a motivator – use the rule of 50 (write down 50 goals that you want to achieve in your lifetime and then cut it down to 20 to 10 to 3 buckets that you can focus on, i.e. relationships, health, business)
- Gratitude – what are you grateful for?

Momentum- it sparks and gives certainty when something good happens learn how to create more momentum·
Certainty causes us to execute·
How to change your beliefs – IMAGINE the outcome until your body believes it and you will break results
- Our beliefs create our destiny
- The past does not equal the future – do you drive your car looking at the rear view mirror?
- More potential more action (rich getting richer, happy getting happier)
- When they work with athletes all they do is drill in the mind· How fast can you change your emotions? By changing your thoughts in an instant
- Patterns that don’t serve you – figure them out
- That about a time when you failed at something – What stopped you?
- The ultimate resource is resourcefulness
- Emotions are the ultimate resource·
- How to grow your business:
- Who’s your ideal client? Know everything about them i.e. what they fear/desire most, what excites them, what influences them
- What is your irresistible offer? Create your irresistible offer
- Forces that influence our decisions:
- Mental emotional state
- Blueprint- long term (expectations that are out of date) not based on the truth in life
- How to change your state: Celebrate!
- Feel the feelings you will feel when you have achieved your goal·
- Get out of the Survival Mode that is fight, flight, freeze·
- New Results: require new action —> change your state – you will be certain it happens ·
- Will power never lasts just put yourself in a state it lasts longer·

- If you focus on it, it will feel true to you
- If you focus on what’s missing you won’t feel good and can’t sustain happiness
- Which do you focus on more – what you can control or what you can’t control?

- If you focus on the future you are preparing and if you focus on present you are enjoying and creating for the future
